![]() Known as one of the leading conservatoires in the world, famous Academy alumni include Sir Elton John and Annie Lennox, and distinguished faculty appointments include Maxim Vengerov and Semyon Bychkov. This July, students and faculty will travel to The Royal Academy of Music in London, the oldest conservatory in the United Kingdom (founded in 1822). It’s experiences such as those that he hopes will inspire the students to strive for grand pursuits. It was important to Pavlovic that his students understood the significance of performing at the same venue where Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky conducted at the grand opening of Carnegie Hall more than 127 years ago. Last summer, more than 60 students and faculty members had the opportunity to perform at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall in New York City for a two-day recital. ![]() Early childhood music development classes, separated by age groups, are provided in a musical atmosphere of play, song, and dance. The renowned faculty are some of the most decorated recitalists and award-winning composers and musicians. In 2021, Dusan graduated with his Master of Music from the prestigious Carnegie Mellon University with the highest academic standing. During his undergraduate studies, Dusan was awarded an exclusive opportunity to study abroad at the Danish Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen for one semester and to be an ambassador of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Denmark. His other passions besides music are dancing, cooking, and painting.įrom creating a local pop-rock band to performing classical, opera, crossover, folk, and musical theater genres, Dusan’s music projects have seen him perform in Rome, New York, Moscow, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Cleveland, Chicago, Copenhagen, Ljubljana, Pittsburgh, Sofia, and Houston.ĭusan graduated from Oberlin Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor of Music. Soon after, he began playing the accordion and piano. He started his vocal training and performing at vocal competitions and children’s musical festivals at the age of nine. Dusan G, a doctoral candidate in Voice Performance at the University of Houston, is a European tenor from Serbia. ![]()
